This Car Museum Will Blow Your Mind
A little earlier this year we had the pleasure of visiting the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. We hadn't done much research on it but were told by members of the community when in LA, this was a necessary stop.
Needless to say, we certainly agree. The incredible variation of different cars here was staggering; from classic Formula 1 cars to Ferrari's and modern day marvels like this all carbon McLaren.
We'd definitely like to take this one for a spin at Laguna Seca...
The beast from Porsche. Which would you prefer? The McLaren or the P-car?
It isn't every day that you get to see a beauty like this in clean sight. They were loading in for the Ferrari exhibit when we were there, from what we're told, you can expect different cars pretty much every time you visit.
An impossibly rare collection of historic cars, motorcycles, and even some tricycles.
Also on display was the most beautiful collection of cars from the legendary Bugatti.
A hand painted Land Rover from Africa was the last thing we saw upon exiting the building. We definitely appreciated that even in a beautiful clean setting like this all of the classics had a drip pan below them. Check out the "Old Girl" Tee below inspired by Land Rovers of this era.
We look forward to our next visit to LA, and definitely will return to Petersen for another gander. Check out our blog on Rod Emory for more from our trip to LA.
